Neuland is a double premiere at the Sorbisches National-Ensemble in Bautzen, exploring the intersection of history, contemporary experience, and cultural identity.
The evening pairs “Die Fischerin”, a Singspiel by J. W. Goethe with music by Emilie Mayer, and “Ptačk architektki / Der Vogel der Architektin” by Róža Domašcyna and Christian Mietke. Together, the works create a dialogue between past and present, tradition and experimentation, highlighting women’s perspectives, memory, and transformation.
